We regretfully inform our following that public LAN events have permanently been put on hiatus. Due to recent events involving theft of expensive personal property, and LAN owned goods, we cannot rely on the good faith that has served us well for the past ten years, and over 100 events to continue. Though, as this is a developing situation, there may be changes in the future, but for now we just want to take a step back for a while. There will be several changes to the website and forums over the coming weeks as I close most of it down since the only use will be from the core members (IE, those who aren't complete douche-bags and like to steal from a non-profit organization) and I will not be allowing any new user registrations unless it's for a really good reason (like one of us knows and trusts you). For those of you who are honest, hardworking people, that aren't a part of the core group... Sorry, but for now, this is how it has to be. Thank you for making us the longest running LAN party around, and for the thieves, thanks for finally killing us. May you die in a fire. ~Ethan Cain (Lycwolf) |
