When does the party start and how long does it last?

They usually start at 12:00pm and goes to next day till every one is too tired to play. However, you might want to check the messageboard for details.

How much is admission?
$20 Un-Confirmed and $15 Confirmed (Goto the CONFIRM page for information)

What to do for food?
Even though food is included in the admission cost, it is generally a good idea to eat before you come. Also, small snacks are a good idea. (restaurant listings can be found on the location page)

What all do I get for the admission cost?
Hot dogs, Nachos, $0.55 Pop, $1.50 Bawls, and the Whempys Special (As prepared by our in house chef, Dave Reed)

Is alcohol permitted?
Alcohol is not be permitted at any of our LAN parties as well as any illegal substances! (Alcohol might be allowed at "special" events)

No, but they are recommended. (No subwoofers)

What do I need to bring?

What games will be played?
Any thing goes here!!! However, check the tourney section on the forums for the currently played games.

What tournaments will be played?
Normally random team based and 1v1 tournys are played. No clan teams or pre-genned teams are used unless specified. Check the tourney forum for information and to vote on games.

How about sleep?
It is a good idea to try and get as much sleep as possible the night before the party. If you fear that you might fall to sleep, it might not be a bad idea to bring a pillow and a blanket or something (just keep in mind that this is a warehouse, and even though we will clean it up, chances are that pillow/blanket might get dirty). Also, it is not uncommon at all to doze off in your chair for a short while.

Will there be a connection to the internet available?
There is a T1 connection in the warehouse, but during the party will be firewalled to keep it available for everyone. Please note that any online games should be played at home. We CANNOT guarantee the availability of internet. During tournaments things such as WoW, UT (online) and file sharing (P2P) will be BLOCKED. All updates for games are available on http://octavius during the party, you can also ask around and see if someone has what you are looking for shared.

What are the minimum system requirements?
It is just recommended that your computer can run most of the common games of today. However, there is no minimum requirement for this party.

How do I get there?
Go to the location page for detailed instructions on how to get to the party.

How do you handle theft?
We are not responsible for any personal equipment being stolen or damaged. However if anyone is discovered stealing, the authorities will be notified immediately. (The police station is just a few hundred feet away.)

Will there be any dedicated servers for non-tourney play?
Yes we will have dedicated servers running, and anyone can run their own server.
